Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. There’s no card and no time limit. You get 5 AI credits when you connect your YouTube channel (3 if you start without one), and the free tools on this site need no account at all. You only pay if you choose a plan or buy a credit pack.
Do I need a card to try it?
Not for the Free plan — there’s no card and no time limit, and the free tools on this site need no account at all. The separate 7-day Starter trial does need a card so your account stays active on day 8: it gives you 15 credits, you aren’t charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel before then from your billing page. It’s available once per account.
Do my credits expire at the end of the month?
Your plan’s monthly credits reset at the start of each billing period, so unused plan credits don’t carry over. Credits you buy separately in a credit pack never expire — and we always spend your monthly plan credits first, so a pack only gets touched once the monthly ones run out.
How is this different from ChatGPT?
A general assistant writes from what you type into it. TubeWizz works from your actual video and your channel’s own numbers, stays inside YouTube’s limits for titles and tags, and produces the files too: thumbnails at 1280 × 720 and Shorts cut from your video. If you like working in an assistant, the TubeWizz MCP server lets you use both together.
Can it harm my channel?
No. TubeWizz reads your channel to analyse it and only changes something on YouTube when you press a button to send it, such as a new title, description, tags or thumbnail. You review everything first, and you can disconnect at any time.
Does it work for a brand-new channel?
Yes. Most tools work from a video file, a YouTube link or a topic, so you don’t need subscribers or past uploads. You can even start before you have a channel and connect one later.
What does connecting my channel give TubeWizz access to?
Connecting uses Google sign-in. TubeWizz asks to manage your YouTube account, which it uses to confirm the channel is yours, list your videos and publish the changes you approve, and to view your channel analytics. Revenue reports are a separate permission you can add later. You can remove access from your brand settings or your Google account.
Who owns the titles, thumbnails and captions it generates?
You do. You keep ownership of everything you upload, and you own the output generated from it — titles, descriptions, thumbnails, captions and Shorts — to use commercially on your own channel. We only get a limited licence to process your files in order to run the tools. As with any AI output, review it before you publish.
How long do you keep my videos?
Uploaded videos and images sit in our cloud storage for 72 hours by default, long enough to process them, then they go. Generated files such as thumbnails, captions and SRTs are kept for up to 30 days, or until you delete the job yourself. If you delete your account, everything we stored is purged and the files are removed within 24 hours.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your billing page whenever you like. There are no cancellation fees, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
