Most YouTube sponsorships are priced per 1,000 views the sponsored video is expected to get. Subscribers matter far less: a channel with 500,000 subscribers whose videos get 20,000 views is priced on the 20,000. The rate per 1,000 views then depends on the niche, the format of the ad and where the viewers live.
The calculator at the top shows the rate it assumes for each niche, under the tool. YouTube does not publish sponsorship rates; those ranges are ours, built from 2026 industry reports.
The same channel can quote very different prices depending on how much of the video the brand gets. These are the main formats the calculator prices, with the multiples it uses against an integrated mention. It also prices a post on the channel’s Community tab, at 0.1x to 0.2x.
| Feature | Integrated mention | Dedicated video | Sponsored Short |
|---|---|---|---|
| What the brand gets | 30 to 90 seconds inside a regular video | The whole video | One Short |
| Priced on | Median long-video views | Median long-video views | Median Shorts views |
| Multiple used here | 1x | 1.5x to 3x | 0.4x to 0.6x of the rate |
Whatever you charge, YouTube asks you to tell it when a video is paid for. The rules below are from YouTube Help.

Advertising law in your country can ask for more, such as saying it out loud in the video. The checkbox is YouTube’s rule, not a substitute for those.
