Instantly review title length, description depth, hook, tags and engagement on any watch page — without opening YouTube Studio. Then fix what’s broken with one-click AI suggestions, or send the video straight into TubeWizz.
What it does
vidIQ and TubeBuddy stop at the number. TubeWizz gives you an SEO score, tells you exactly why it’s low, and hands you three GPT-generated alternatives to copy back into YouTube Studio.
Five weighted components — Title length, Description depth, Hook above the fold, Tags, Engagement — with an A-F letter grade and hover hints that tell you why each row lost points.
Tap the sparkle next to Title, Hook or Tags. Three GPT-generated alternatives in the video's language, respecting YouTube's 100 / 160 / 500-char limits. Copy, paste into Studio, done.
One click ships the video URL into TubeWizz — brand pre-picked, persona and style reference auto-filled. Generate a fresh title / description / thumbnail set in a new tab.
Signed-in users see how this video's engagement and like ratio compare to their own last-20-videos average. Green ↑ means it beat you; red ↓ means you'd have done better.
Analyze comments · Trend Finder · Thumbnails · Compare rivals · Save idea to Content Planning — five deep-links to TubeWizz tools, one tap each, no URL copy-paste.
The score overlay works anonymously on any watch page. Sign in only when you want AI Improve, Vs your channel, or send-to-wizard flows.
Install in 30 seconds
Open the Chrome Web Store listing and click Add to Chrome. Edge users get the same extension via the Edge Add-ons store.
The TubeWizz score card appears in the top-right corner of every watch page. No sign-in required for the score.
Once signed in to tubewizz.com, the extension unlocks AI Improve, channel comparison, and 1-click send-to-wizard.
Chrome extensions can quietly turn into spyware. This one doesn’t. Everything below is enforced by the manifest and audited by Google’s reviewers on every submit.
Full details in the Privacy Policy, Section 11.
Yes. The SEO score, Quick Actions, and Vs-your-channel comparisons are always free. AI Improve consumes 1 TubeWizz credit per call (new accounts start with 15 free credits).
No — the score overlay works anonymously on every watch page. Sign in on tubewizz.com only when you want AI Improve, channel comparison, or one-click Send-to-Wizard.
No. The extension only reads the public video metadata (title, description, tags) already on the page you're viewing. It never touches your YouTube account, subscriptions, watch history, or any signed-in state.
Those extensions show you metrics and leave the interpretation to you. TubeWizz shows a single 0-100 score with per-component reasons, then lets you fix each component with GPT-4o-mini suggestions in one click — plus deep-links to a full SEO / thumbnail / comment / trend studio.
Not yet. We ship on Chrome and Edge today (they share the same store engine). A Firefox build is on the roadmap once we clear the Chrome review.
Three things: (1) your session cookie on calls to app.tubewizz.com — how we know you're signed in; (2) the video URL and current metadata when you click AI Improve or Send-to-Wizard; (3) nothing else. No third-party analytics. No trackers. No ad pixels.
Install once. See a score on the next YouTube video you open. Free forever.
