Not directly — YouTube does not expose impression or CTR numbers through its API (they live only inside YouTube Studio). So we use a views-per-day proxy: because the same video alternates variants across full days, the variant that earns more views per live day is the better package. It’s an honest, measurable proxy, not exact CTR — and we label it that way in the app.

Yes — variants rotate on the actual public video, because that’s the only way to measure real performance. We snapshot your original first and restore it automatically if no variant clearly wins, so you’re never left worse off.

Around 6 days. Each variant needs a few full days of views before the numbers mean anything — a thumbnail that only ran for an hour hasn’t been seen by enough people to trust the result.

We compare each variant’s views per live day with a statistical rate test. A variant only wins if it beats the others with high confidence and enough views behind it. If nothing clears that bar, we call it “no clear winner” and restore your original.
